Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) & K9 Coordination

The Aviation & Airport Security Training program is designed to equip aviation security professionals, airport personnel, airline staff, supervisors, security managers, and regulatory authorities with the knowledge and practical skills required to protect passengers, crew, aircraft, airport facilities, and critical aviation infrastructure from acts of unlawful interference. The course is based on internationally recognized aviation security principles and aligns with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and industry best practices promoted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Participants will develop the competencies needed to identify and assess aviation security threats, conduct security risk assessments, implement airport security programs, manage access control to restricted areas, oversee passenger and baggage screening, secure cargo and mail operations, protect aircraft on the ground, and coordinate security operations with airlines, airport authorities, customs, immigration, and law enforcement agencies. The program also addresses insider threats, cybersecurity awareness, behavior detection, emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity to strengthen the overall resilience of airport operations.

The training combines instructor-led presentations with practical exercises, case studies, tabletop scenarios, and realistic simulations based on airport security incidents, security breaches, hijacking prevention, bomb threats, active shooter events, unruly passengers, and emergency evacuations. Participants will gain practical experience in applying aviation security procedures, coordinating multi-agency responses, and making effective operational decisions in high-pressure environments.
